岐阜県出身、6月24日生まれのB型。
在学中よりバンド活動を開始し、2008年より東京に拠点を移し自身の音楽活動を続ける中、2010年春より放送のTVアニメ「Angel Beats!」の劇中バンド「Girls Dead Monster(通称：ガルデモ)」2代目ボーカル・ユイ役の歌い手に抜擢され、ガルデモ名義でのCDリリースや各地イベントやライブを行う中で、LiSA本人の持つキャラクター性と観客と一体になるライブパフォーマンスが話題となる。
2011/11/23待望の1st シングルとなるTVアニメ『Fate/Zero』オープニングテーマ「oath sign」発売！
Born on 24th June, B-type blood, in Gifu Prefecture.
She was part of a band since her school days, and moved to Tokyo alone in 2008 to pursue a career in music, and from spring of 2010, became to second vocalist of Girls Dead Monster of TV anime Angel Beats, and released a CD under the name of Girls Dead Monster, performing at events and lives, we talk about her personal character becoming one with the audience during her LiVE performances.

As her own 1st single anime Fate/Zero opening theme is getting rave reviews, LiSA herself is of course an AniSong fan! Speaking of which, this time she recommendeds her BEST10 AniSongs for us. Personally giving comments while introducing these songs!
1. ClariS / irony
歌詞がヤバイっ。聴いていてきゅんきゅんするーーっ!!
The lyrics are yabai (oh ma gawd). I go kyun-kyun as I listen to it!!
2. ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D / INMYWORLD
サビが流れた瞬間耳が虜っ。ah,ah,ah!!
Your ears are held captive once the hook is played. ah, ah,ah!!
3. UNISON SQUARE GARDEN / オリオンをなぞる (Orion wo Nazoru//Following Orion)
ポップで元気が出るっ。半信半疑あっちこっち。
Creates a lively pop atmosphere. Being half in doubt about this and that.
4. いとうかなこ (Itou Kanako) / Hacking to the Gate
アニメとのシンクロもやばくて、いとうかなこさんの歌がカッコイイっ!!
