The moment you get a hint of them, memories that were nothing but a hole can come flying back as vivid as yesterday。
Your memory replays a voice or a scent or the clothes someone was wearing or a moment’s scenery as if it were the latest movie。
Memory is such an amazing thing.
I met a friend who I hadn’t seen in 12 years。
I feel like we’ve spent such an important time together。
It had been so long since we’d seen each other that I felt a little nervous before we met up, but she hadn’t changed at all. (LOL)
It was amazing。
We found each other right away in a train station full of people。
Since the time we spent together was so special, the time we had been apart wasn’t a problem at all。
Our gestures and the way we looked from behind, none of those things had change, and the time flew by as we laughed over the memories that came flying back one after the other。
I had so much fun!
It felt strange have met in a different place and have spent time apart and then meet again in Tokyo.
But the reason I had so much fun in those good old days, and the reason I was able to live my life to the fullest then is because she was with me。
I hope we can spend more time together from now on。
There must be so many other fun times and sad times that are still sleeping in my memories, that I’ll remember about soon。
I want to re-read all the precious memories deep inside my mind。
Any away, the memory hidden deepest in my mind is the memory of being an elementary school student and I used to ride my scooter elegant through the city. (LOL)
(That’s a lame memory.)
It was so much fun!!
