Reminiscencing AFA11. I Love Anisong Day 2 Coverage by PopCultureOnline.net

A month had passed since LiSA came, rocked and then left Singapore shores.

With the release of her first solo single, 「oath/sign」, a full suite of promotional events, from mini Lives to TV and radio appearances, had kept LiSA busy since. In the week of its release, 「oath/sign」 even managed to beat out releases from big names like Pornografitti and Supercell to clinch the 5th spot on the Oricon weekly chart.

With LiSA slated to perform at the opening ceremony of Bushiroad's national championships on the 18th of Dec and her sold out concert, 「LiVE is Smile Always～peace sign～」, on the 27 of Dec, the year will continue to be a busy, but hopefully a fufilling one for our dearest songstress.

In the interview, as she reminisced the Last Live of Girls Dead Monster, she was moved to tears.

LiSA at AFA11 Press Conference

Most of you know by now that LiSA will be performing at Anime Festival Asia 2011(AFA11) in Singapore.

Yesterday (26/9), LiSA made a guest appearance at the AFA11 Press Conference in Singapore at *SCAPE. (She arrived in Singapore at midnight the previous day, and has already returned to Japan last night)

The event was covered by local news channel Channel NewsAsia, popular local forum SGCafe, as well as Ani-Culture.
It has also been confirmed that she will perform "oath sign" at the ROCK YOUR SOUL!!! Super AniSong Concert at AFA11.

LiSA will be performing alongside AniSong legend Ichirou Mizuki, rock masters FLOW, as well as up-and-coming SouthEast Asian Idols Sea☆A , on the second night of the concert (12th Nov). Also featured at the event are Hatsune Miku on the first night, as well as May'n, Kalafina, Kanako Itou, and Milky Holmes on Day 3. This event has been regarded as the largest gathering of AniSong artists outside of Japan in history!

A sudden announcement today increases the number of LiVE appearances from LiSA at the end of this year to 5!

LiSA will be performing at  Machi☆Asobi Vol.7, a major anime festival in the Tokushima Prefecture (Southwestern Japan) running from 23rd Sept to Oct 10th. LiSA will be performing 「oath sign」live for the first time ever on the 9th and 10th of October; the closing days of Machi☆Asobi Vol.7.

LiSA at LISANI LIVE 2011 this December

On December 4th, 2011, LiSA will be performing at the annual LISANI LIVE.

LISANI LIVE 2011 will be held at the Budoukan, and should be, to our knowledge, LiSA's first ever performance at the Budoukan (Japan's largest and most pretigious live venue)

She will be performing alongside other great artists including Idolm@ster, Kalafina, Miyu Irino, Maon Kurosaki, Yuuka Nanri, FLOW, and UNISON SQUARE GARDEN.

「oath sign」written and composed by CONNECT composer

As mentioned in a post earlier today, LiSA's first single will be a tie-up with Fate/Zero anime, with a song titled 「oath sign」.

LiSA Official Website has since made the announcement for the single.

The song was written and composed by Sho Watanabe, who also wrote and composed CONNECT, the OP for Puella Magi Madoka Magica sung by ClariS.

The tracklist has been confirmed to include :
-「oath sign」
-「oath sign」(instrumental)
and 2 other songs that are currently being recorded.

The Limited Edition First Pressing (LiSA ver.) will also include:
-「oath sign」music video
- a 12P Photo Booklet.

If you've never heard of CONNECT by ClariS:



Sho Watanabe is a rather established songwriter, having worked with artists like V6, TOKYO GIRL'S STYLE, Lil'B, and AKB48.

The song is very much anticipated among fans of both LiSA and the Fate series alike, as it would be defining for both parties.

For the Fate series, its popularity had peaked more than 5 years ago when Fate/Stay Night anime was airing, and the success of the 1-hour pilot episode of Fate/Zero is crucial for a come-back.

For LiSA, 「Letters to U」met with very limited success, ranking at #14 on the Oricon charts in its first week with only 7,686 copies sold. This can be largely attributed to a lack of promotional efforts. Her tie-up with Fate/Zero, however, could make or break her career as the new single will be very heavily promoted together with the anime, especially if Fate/Zero exceeds the expectations of its fans.

Information has been leaked about LiSA’s next single: 「oath sign」on various anime networks.

A tie-up with the much anticipated Fate/Zero anime premiering on October 1st with a one-hour special,「oath sign」will be its opening theme, and is a great opportunity for LiSA to broaden her fan-base considering the cult popularity of the Fate series.

As Fate/Zero is a fast paced shounen anime, we can expect a powerful rock number from LiSA.
