Today was the first release event for best day, best way
IN☆Shinjuku Tower Records。
I wanted to surprise the people walking around Shinjuku Station by yelling from the roof (what a nuisance) beneath the blue sky, but it was stormy today.
My teru-teru did his best and it didn’t rain during the event, but the wind was too much for his power.
Sorry to everyone who made teru-teru.
We couldn’t do the event on the roof because the wind might high blown the sound and all of you away, but I wanted to make today special so the Shinjuku Tower Records staff and I put our heads together, and I ended up singing inside the store for a little bit. That made me really happy.
So many people came despite the strong winds, and I tried to sing as best I could and my voice was buried by everyone cheers and it made me so so happy.

I’m sure the people who came to shop there were really startled.
The atmosphere that you all make because love and kindness are so important to you makes me so happy, and I felt so lucky to be the center of that atmosphere, that explosion of love that makes every day the best.
(The frog was watching too.)
I was really sorry not to be able to perform on the roof this time, but I was so happy that they let me sing there on the 7th floor.
I got to sing a little, and I even had a meet and greet.
This was another thing that theShinjuku Tower Records staff thought of to make the storm feel special

I hadn’t sung on that 7th floor since my debut mini-album as LiSA, Letters to U.
I was nervous as I went to perform, wondering if anyone would come to see me, but everyone gave me love and I was so happy.
It’s been two years from now and I was so happy to go back there on that stage with my new love letter (single) best day, best way.
I have so many memories of Tower Records Shinjuku, and they’re all so clear.
From the first day that I performed in front of you all as Girls Dead Monster, when Marina and I were so nervous that we peaked outside and were so shocked and so enamored of everyone’s warmth, until today when I brought you my precious love letter …I have so many memories, so much love, and so much gratitude.
I was so happy to spend the first of my release events here at such a special place with all of you.

Thinking back, it was two years ago, at my first in-store event as LiSA at Shinjuku Tower Records that I did my first date (LiVE) with CO-K-sensei on guitar.
He’s played guitar behind me ever since then for the past two years.
Unfortunately these days there are more people calling CO-K-san!! Than my name. LOL
But I’m so glad you all love CO-K-sensei.

Lately I’d always been wearing tights all the time, so today I wore knee highs.
They made me stand up straighter. I don’t know.
Tomorrow is my best day, best way release event at Lazona Kawasaki!!

Now then. That got kind of long, but can I talk about my Love Letter (CD) a little?

The start of my third year as LiSA.
My first single that’s’ 120% LiSA.
Tabuchi-san has come to my dates (LiVE) many times since I was in Girls Dead Monster, and he’s been helping out with my love letters ever since my solo debut Letters to U, and always be right there to feel the atmosphere the LiSA-kko and I build, what I myself want to communicate, the music and the time I want to spend with everyone.
So I wanted Tabuchi-san to write my first precious love letter for my third year.
He said, “I want to write a song that only you could sing, LiSA-chan.”
And the song he made for me was definitely 120% LiSA.
He knows how important it is for me to have fun at my dates (LiVE) with everyone, so he wrote a song that we can all sing together.
It’s pop, but it always bring s tear to your eyes. So it makes me tearful.
The lyrics are so exactly what I try to get across at my dates (LiVE) that I almost thought that I wrote them! It’s really amazing!
I just hope that “because today is the best” reaches you.
And the arrangement was by akkin-san.
To put it simple, I’ve always liked akkin-san’s arrangements.
So when I was talking to the higher ups, I said “There’s this arranger named akkin who’s amazing!!” And they said “Huh? What’re you talking about? He played guitar on a few of the songs on your LOVER”S”MiLE.” (LOL)
Whaaaat!?
The name I remembered was not the one he used there, so I didn’t know. (LOL)
So the arranger I fell for was actually right there the whole time. (LOL)
Oh man. Best day, best way is just so cool. It’s 120% LiSA.
It’s by Tabuchi-san, who writes such cool songs, and always knows just what I want to say, and by Akkin-san, who I always thought was so cool!
How could it NOW be cool?
I’m so happy to bring you my love letter (3rd single) best day, best way, which is so full of everything I love.
